Sourcing a diamond to your brief
You tell me what you are looking for — shape, budget, natural or laboratory-grown, and the piece it is destined for. I search across trusted professional suppliers, compare the stones that genuinely fit, and come back with a shortlist rather than a single option.
For each stone I explain what the certificate says, what it does not say, and why I would or would not choose it. You see what I see: the grading report, the measurements, photographs and video, and wherever possible the stone itself.
How long it takes depends on how specific the brief is — from a few days for a straightforward round, to several weeks for a particular fancy shape at a particular quality.
A second opinion on a stone you have already found
If a jeweller or a website has offered you a diamond, I will read the certificate with you and tell you plainly what I think of it.
That means whether the grades describe what you are imagining, whether the price is reasonable in today’s market, and whether anything on the report deserves a closer look — an inclusion in an awkward position, a cut grade that covers a wide range, fluorescence that may or may not matter on that particular stone.
You are free to go ahead and buy it anyway. Being better informed is the point, not changing your mind.
Bespoke jewellery, coordinated end to end
When a stone needs a setting, I work with a small number of experienced jewellers who carry out the design and the manufacture.
I select the right workshop for the piece, brief them, follow the work through, and remain your single point of contact from first sketch to finished jewel. You deal with me rather than with three separate trades. The jewellers are independent professionals, engaged for their craftsmanship.
How I am paid
I am an independent advisor rather than a retailer with stock to move. Payment terms are agreed individually with each client before I begin sourcing a specific stone, and are always confirmed in writing.
Where I work
In person in Strasbourg and across Alsace. Remotely, by video, for the rest of France and for international clients — stones can be examined on video before any decision, and are shipped fully insured against signature.
